Project White House is a Reality Journalism competition sponsored by the Tucson Weekly. Candidates on the Arizona's Presidential Primary ballot are competing in a variety of campaign challenges to win the Tucson Weekly's endorsement.
Here's where the candidates can compete for the secondary prize of the Tucson Weekly Readers' Endorsement, which will also be included in our Jan. 31 issue.
Your can choose one of the final five Republicans and one of the final five Democrats in the polls below. Polling closes at midnight on Monday, Jan. 28.
You can vote for one candidate in each division. We'll be tracking IP addresses, so don't try to stuff the ballot box. It's one computer, one vote!

Tucson Weekly Readers' Endorsement Run-Off!
With ties in both the Johnson Division and the Udall Division in first round of voting in the Tucson Weekly Readers' Endorsement, Project White House Polling Central HQ is announcing a run-off election that will wrap up at noon Friday, Jan. 25.
In the Johnson Division, Leland Montell and Tish Haymer both captured 35 percent of the vote. Squeezed out of the race was Peter "Simon" Bollander, who captured just 30 percent.
In the Udall Division, Michael Oatman and Chuck See both captured 39.1 percent of the vote. Orion Karl Daley came in third with 21.7 percent.

Project White House News Bulletin
An electronic glitch in the vote-counting software caused polls in the Tucson Weekly Readers' Endorsement race to close an hour ahead of schedule.
The so-called DST Bug, which evidently failed to account for Arizona’s refusal to participate in Daylight Savings Time, shut down voting at 11 a.m. Tuesday morning instead of noon.
The precise impact is unknown, but millions of voters nationwide may have been disenfranchised by the malfunction.
The incident comes as communities across the nation are struggling with issues related to computer tabulation of votes.
Reports suggest the impact may be even greater because several races among Democrats were tied.

We're beginning with a Primary Primary for both parties. Both the Democratic and Republican candidates have been split into five divisions. The top vote-getter in each division will advance to a final round to win the TWRE.
The deadline for this first round of elimination is noon on Jan. 22.
You can vote for one candidate in each division. We'll be tracking IP addresses, so don't try to stuff the ballot box. It's one computer, one vote!
